CAMP EMMAUS 2022-2023 Hello all! It’s Kaycee, the PR Chair. As I post this montage, there are just a few words I would like to say. There have been many moments within this camp that surely made all of us laugh, cry, scream, cheer, or feel absolutely lost. Whether it’s unknowingly volunteering to become homeless for a day, to Rafa kicking down the homeless hut, or Group 1 getting Father Steven to say #slay during mass, this week long camp was definitely one of my favorites and one of the most memorable things. Coming back from being online and transitioning to in-person church events was an obstacle we were all ready to face. Hopefully, this year has been enjoyable to all the youth as it was to us. We could not have wished for a better year and we certainly enjoyed our time here. As we grow up, we say our hardest goodbyes, but also our happiest welcomes to the new generations. Today, the future of the youth ministry is now officially passed on to the next generation. For me, as well as the other seniors graduating this year, we are all excited to see where the future may take us, and where it may take you. No matter where we are, we will always be here whenever you need it. We have made memories and it is important that we remember, cherish, and reminisce them. Memories will never be forgotten. As a final goodbye, I am happy to write on behalf of all seniors, we will miss you dearly, Good Shepherd Youth Ministry. Emmaus 2020: Day 6 - Leah reflects on the final week of Emmaus and her personal takeaways.

On day 5 of Emmaus, we were presented with an amazing talent show submitted by the youth! From spoken word to unicycle riding, we witnessed the wondrous talents and beautiful abilities God has blessed us all with. Although some of us have yet to realize our own talents, we have grown to learn that each and every one of us has a special way we can help others. Whether by virtue of patience, artistry, or intelligence, we can use our unique superpowers to be the light to people around us. You can support others by uplifting their strengths so that they too can see their powerful place in this world.
