Choosing the Better Part

Metanoia means conversion, but it is much more than that. It means to change, to repent, to turn, to think differently. Metanoia is an ongoing process. As Christians we are to live a life of metanoia. In the very beginning of Mark’s Gospel Jesus says, "This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the Gospel." (Mk. 1:15) The word "repent" in Greek has the root "metanoia." At the very beginning of the Scriptures, Jesus is inviting us to metanoia.

You are invited to join Fr. Tom as he guides us on a wonderful spiritual journey through our Advent preparation for Christmas. This series includes videos by Fr. Dave Pivonka.

The 5 sessions will be held on Monday evenings via Zoom following the 5:30 pm mass:

November 23 – December 21 6:30: – 8:30 pm
