All Catholics living in the geographical boundaries of Good Shepherd Parish. Those boundaries are, roughly, Interstate 15 on the East, Penasquitos Canyon on the North, Interstate 805 on the West, Miramar Road on the South. Who is a "Supporting Member"?
A Supporting Member is defined as a household contributing regularly to the parish at or above the threshold of $520 in the last 365 days, in an identifiable form. This definition is used when determining eligibility for subsidized tuition at Good Shepherd Catholic School, at diocesan high schools, and for use of parish facilities. Several years ago, the parish council determined that each household able to contribute a minimum of $520 per year (the equivalent of ten dollars a week) would be considered as a supporting member. The activities here at Good Shepherd are as varied as the cultures and traditions which make up our parish family. We have families from all over the US and from other countries. Our community is like a large mosaic. Each person is a part of that mosaic, is gifted with a certain distinctive quality. And it is only when these qualities are placed in relation to one another that we see the beauty of each individual person. We are truly blessed to have all these cultures and talents working together in one parish.

We are a large community so we work extra hard to provide an opportunity for each person to use the talents with which he or she has been gifted. We believe that a parish should provide a structure within which each person is enabled to exercise that gift or talent. In the likeness of the Good Shepherd, who lovingly watches over His flock to protect and guide them, we hope that we can follow in that tradition as we strive to walk with you on your spiritual journey.
